In case you’ve never hear of Twitter, it’s been described as micro-blogging (posts are limited to 140 characters) and IMing (instant messaging) on a party line.

    I use Twitter to follow some New York Times accounts: health and books.
    Twitter is a great tool when traveling - family can keep track of your status when you tweet (post to your Twitter account).
